Our State-of-the-Art Equipment
The ICARE Elliptical Trainer, developed in the USA, is a revolutionary rehabilitation tool that forms the foundation of our therapies at Headway ABI. It's suited to help individuals recovering from brain injuries such as stroke, TBI, and other neuromuscular disorders.
The ICARE's intelligent "assist as needed" approach mimics natural walking patterns, providing the necessary repetitions for breakthroughs in neuroplasticity. With customisable assistance levels and partial body weight support, ICARE ensures safe, practical training, enhancing walking ability and cardiovascular fitness for those facing mobility and strength challenges.
The MotoLIFE Evo movement therapy device is a critical component of our rehabilitation programs and is designed for home and clinical use. It aids participants with mobility-related ailments in the upper and lower limbs, including muscle spasticity, degeneration, limited mobility, poor circulation, and neurological issues.
The MotoLIFE also has a fantastic ability to adjust resistance based on exertion, combined with exceptional safety features for spasm detection and reversal, making it one of the safest tools for those with minimal mobility.
One of the most popular pieces of equipment for our NDIS participants, the Jintronix has been a key rehabilitation tool here at Headway ABI Australia. Its cutting-edge virtual technology transforms therapy into an enjoyable, game-like experience, which means our participants focus less on exercising and more on having fun!
The Jintronix is designed to safely motivate our participants to push their limits to achieve more successful rehabilitation outcomes while enjoying their physical therapy in a fun, exciting, and encouraging environment.
